ASMP NorCal Presents: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 has landed, loaded with the usual complement of new technologies and must-try new features. But what is the best strategy for getting the most out of Lightroom 3?

Join us on Tuesday, September 14th, as Tom Hogarty, Product Manager for Lightroom, demonstrates the hottest new features of this exciting application and shares his favorite tips and techniques for maximizing productivity. Tom will show us, for example, how to leverage Lightroom's new noise reduction technology to create the most natural looking results from your high ISO images. Tom will also demonstrate Lightroom's new lens correction feature which allows you to easily reduce the effects of common annoyances such as geometric distortion, chromatic aberration, and vignetting, using simple, single click profiles. Tom will highlight improvements in how to get images into Lightroom, as well as how to take advantage of the program's new tethered shooting mode. Also expect to learn more about Lightroom's support for DSLR video files, how to use the advanced slideshow and music integration features, along with how to leverage the product's flexible print packages to creatively customize your print layouts, among many other new features.
