The San Francisco chapter of APA, in partnership with APA National and liveBooks, invite you to join us for a panel discussion about taking your website to a higher level. Discover how to properly represent the work you do best, and become content with your content. Find out what criteria most Creatives use to determine if your images are strong, and become skilled at avoiding the common website image choice pitfalls.

After April 3rd you'll be able to better develop your own superb site that reinforces and promotes your brand---a site that Art Buyers are more likely to bookmark. And you might even be happier with the increased amount of work your new site brings in.

You'll also learn about the latest ways to increase your site's ease of navigation and overall functionality. Is your site up to date AND easy to update? Is it smooth sailing, or tough to navigate? Rob Haggart is a freelance Photography Director who keeps a photo industry blog called http://www.aphotoeditor.com Previously he was Director of Photography at Men's Journal and Outside Magazine. He has received photo editing awards from Graphis, American Photography, Society of Publication Designers, Communication Arts, ASME, and PDN, and was chosen as part of the creative team of the year by Ad Week.

Zana Woods is the photo editor of Wired Magazine in San Francisco, where she started in 1999. Her focus at Wired is on environmental portraiture, photojournalism and product photography. She was previously and art buyer at Foote, Cone & Belding and her accounts included AT&T, MTV and Dockers. Her work has been recognized by the Society of Publication Designers and Photo District News. An amateur photographer, avid photo book collector and a very active softball player, Zana frequently talks with students at the Academy of Art University and California College of the Arts about photography, developing portfolios and creating new work. http://www.wiredmag.com

Debbie Mobley is the Senior Art Producer at Venables Bell & Partners. Debbie has been working in the advertising business for nearly 20 years and has spent the last 10 of those years working as an Art Producer. She has been with Venables Bell & Partners in San Francisco since 2006. Prior to VB&P, Debbie was a freelance Art Producer working in San Francisco and L.A. Jon Lucich has shot successful advertising and editorial campaigns for clients such as Starbucks, Microsoft and Vogue Magazine for nearly 20 years. In his free time, Jon works as a sales executive for liveBooks http://www.livebooks.com

Moderator: Peter Samuels specializes in people and still life photography for the advertising, design and editorial industries. Based in San Francisco, Peter has been the chairman of the APA/SF for about 3 years and might finally be getting the swing of it. http://www.petersamuels.com
