Steve Whittaker
With a background in advertising and graphic design, Steve started Whittaker Photography in 1980. Specializing in architecture, interiors and exteriors, he shoots for architects, designers, ad agencies, and editorial clients. Steve has served the Northern California photo community through leadership at ASMP NorCal, including a stint as Chapter President. He is currently taking his business acumen on the road with presentations to schools, ASMP chapters, and anyone else wanting a better commercial photo business.

Kent Lacin
Operating one of Sacramento’s premiere commercial studios since 1981, Kent has won national awards and has been featured in GRAPHIS, Idn CameraArts and ARTWEEK publications. He is a generalist, photographically; shooting everything from food to advertising to corporate annual reports. Kent always gives to this community by teaching in the photography program at Sac State and has served as president of ASAP, the Association of Sacramento Advertising Photographers.

William Foster
With business presence in both Sacramento and Washington DC, Bill shoots primarily for corporate and political clients on both coasts. He has just completed a two-year assignment as official photographer to Governor Schwarzenegger. Having fully embraced the digital world of high-end web design, Bill has shared these skills through numerous presentations to ASMP, the NPPA Northern Short Course and more.

Marc Longwood
Wildlife biologist turned pro photographer in the early eighties, Marc specialized mainly in people and the travel/hospitality industry. From Apple to Xerox and Businessweek to Wine Spectator, Marc shoots primarily on location for advertising, corporate, and magazine clients. He has also taught digital imaging at Sac State and, like Steve, has served extensively on the ASMP NorCal board, including a term as President.
