LightroomFavorite Webpage Plugin for LightroomSubmitted by LucaFoto on Wed, 12/15/2010 - 10:40am.I would like to know the forums opinion on Lightroom plug-ins for webpage generation. I have tried TTG Highslide, but find the end result not as attractive as I hoped- that may be due to my own ignorance. Any experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Luc Lightroom Bug? Applying Title and Caption information to multiple imagesSubmitted by Jeff_Pflueger on Mon, 12/17/2007 - 1:35pm.I keep running into this problem in Lightroom. Slow SpeedSubmitted by marclongwood on Fri, 10/26/2007 - 11:55am.I know my computer is a bit slow for LR, but it'll have to do until next year (12" Alum G4 PowerBook). Now that my catalog has grown to over 20,000 images, it seems to crawl compared to when I first used it. Would it be better to break it down to several catalogs? (This seems to defeat the purpose of a searchable database.) cropping in LightroomSubmitted by ericcharles on Sun, 10/14/2007 - 11:22am.I'm pretty adept with Lightroom, but the cropping controls have me stumped. What I need to do is set a *default* crop to 8x10 so when I hit the shortcut key "r," the crop goes to that aspect ratio without my having to use the little pull-down menu in the crop control and choose 8x10 for each image. Is that possible? I know how to crop an image and sync others to it, but since not all my images get cropped or cropped the same way that isn't practical for my workflow. I also see that in the main "settings" menu there is a choice for "Crop to Same Aspect Ratio" with a shortcut key "s." I have no idea what this does. I can be cropping to 8x10 all day and hit "s" and it puts me right back at "original" (which for my captures is 8x12). What am I missing? |
