Your Biography

I photograph a lot of outdoor adventure activities and travel related stuff. Assignments with publications such as National Geographic Adventure, Men's Journal, and the New York Times have had me photographing while climbing first ascents north of the arctic circle, descending class V rivers in Canada and the US by kayak and raft, skiing the Sierra backcountry, and participating in other outdoor lunacy.

I also know quite a bit about web development. I am acutely interested in the intersection between the internet and photography. One Internet related journalism project of mine recently had me photographing in Syria and Lebanon.

I am happy to be currently on the ASMPNorCal board as the Web Communications volunteer. I hope to help ASMPNorCal by developing a more community based website to help our organization to strengthen, grow and stay current in the rapidly evolving field of photography.
