Genevieve Shiffrar developed an affinity for photography around age 10, when she began to feel obligated to follow the rules of social conduct for young girls. Aware that some freedoms granted to her as a child were slipping away - rights such as standing on a chair or approaching a stranger - she felt liberated with a camera in hand.

Today, Genevieve Shiffrar is an award-winning photographer and the "go-to person" for clients need to get the photo, whatever it takes. Last-minute projects, challenging conditions, Genevieve gets the job done beautifully.

Based in San Francisco, Genevieve Shiffrar's corporate and editorial work is focused primarily on the needs of the medical and science industries, and higher education.
