Living Legends
Northern California is home to some of the most accomplished photographers in the world. Whether capturing the beauty of Antarctica while trekking to the South Pole or traveling to far corners of the planet to document fast-disappearing cultures and ecosystems, local photographers have set new standards for our profession and expanded the aesthetics of photographic art.
Join us for an animated and dynamic panel presentation featuring a distinguished group of living legends. These select professionals will recount their history and experiences, as well as describe what's in store for them in the near future.
During this lively session, you'll learn from the best--collecting tips related to selecting the best equipment for the job, negotiating and working with difficult people, and building a portfolio that ensures that you continue working even during slow periods and times of industry transition.
The roundtable discussion will also touch upon existing and emerging trends, including the transition to digital and the question of ethics related to image manipulation. You can expect a spirited debate about current hot topics including custom stock, micro payment-based stock libraries, and royalty free licensing.
Don't miss this chance to rub shoulders with some of the best photographers around. An interactive question and answer session will follow the presentation, offering you the opportunity to tap into one of the most comprehensive collections of photographic experience ever assembled in Northern California.
